How to Start the Forum ?

Hi, I'm done with all the installation steps and I've defined all the Settings for lampcms but still nothing gets loaded. When I access phptest.php, I get this:

But I am Okay with no CAPTCHA and Users Not able to store their Avatars.

So I continued with the editing and after that I am unable to access anything. It gives 500 Error with 0 Data in Response.

Where am I going wrong ?

This means your php installation does not have the 'gd' extension. Do you know how to install or enable the 'gd' extension? It's used for creating the "captcha" image which is used on the registration page.

I am facing that problem too. I mean I have php-common version 5.3.10 and yum wants (fedora server) 5.3.8, So I'm finding a way to downgrade php to 5.3.8 somehow. Is it so mandatory to install 'gd' ? I mean It's okay if I am unable to use captcha for registration. How to proceed ? Should I try re-installation ?
